Part iii

RCSB is releasing new structures weekly. We want to make sure that we do not miss any of them and that the database of derived information is kept up to date. For this purpose we install a cronjob which is run once a week at nights and does all the job.

Install the script pdbchainsaw_cron.txt and adapt it to reflect your local installation.

Set the new cronjob with the command:
cronjob -e

And enter something like:
15 00 * * 4 /home/<your name>/pdbchainsaw_cron.txt

This will launch the job every Thursday (fourth day of the week= 4) at 00:15.

The cronjob needs to find the MolTalk interpreter and the script PDBChainSaw.st. Adapt the later to reflect your local installation.
